What session is best for me?
Every single session I shoot is custom tailored to make sure you are getting exactly what you want out of a session. Before we even start planning, I like to get to know you and make sure I am the right photographer for you. I start by asking what is it you want out of a session, and this will help us to navigate exactly what session would be best!
Traditional lifestyle session
Lifestyle sessions are my most 'traditional' form of family photography. This includes mostly candid shots of your family but I will assist and provide some direction on location, wardrobe and prompts to ensure meaningful connection with the members of your family, and lots of laughs of course! I often let light guide these sessions and tend to shoot in the morning or late afternoon.
Sessions are approximately 45 minutes and start at $400
Lifestyle newborn session
Lifestyle newborns take place in the comfort of your own home. I capture this incredibly fleeting time by documenting the up close details as well as the ins and outs of adding a new human to your family. Loosely posed newborn portraits with baby in natural positions are included. Timeless and simple is the goal for these as well as capturing the whole family in the throws of newborn-life.
Sessions are approximately 90 minutes and start at $550

Do you feel as a mom or dad that you are often missing from the thousands of iPhone photos that are in the cloud and you have no hard evidence of 'being there'? Let me tag along for a day while you do your family thing and I'll document it in a creative and real way, helping to preserve and keep these moments precious for you. The days are long but the years are short, let me help you capture this chapter before it's a memory!
Documentary style sessions are for those of you who really want to bottle up and capture life as it is right now. The Beauty, The Chaos and every giggle and tear in between. Life will look so different a year from now, so let me help you remember today.
DITL sessions start at $850 and include 7-8 hours of shooting plus an album of the day expertly laid out and designed by me. Let me help you show your kids that you really were there, in the everyday and not just the stiffly-posed Christmas shot which needed all the bribery to execute (because what do they really help you remember anyway?)
Documentary Experience Sessions (a mini ditl session)
Is there a tradition you want to preserve? Be it the Saturday morning family trip to the gym followed by your favorite coffee shop? Or canning your summer's tomato harvest with your great-aunt and children? Or what about those weekly bike rides to the park?
